VW POLO

Restated they were designed so that only service agents are supposed to do the servicing and repairs. As of 2008 all new vehicle manufacturers ascribe to the CAN-Bus protocol which is not backward compatible to older ODB II protocols. The notorious VW EPC light, Drive by Wire and Limp mode and won't rev more than 2000 rpm explained here on Volkswagen Polo Highline.
